Public Interest: Recreation Complex Playground Equipment Fundraising

A project to purchase new, safe, innovative playground equipment for the Recreation Complex is taking shape. A commitee consisting of Mary Thomas, Stacy Barnes, Nickole Montoya, Pat Stewart, Janet Russell, Lindsay Williamson, Nedra Kennedy and Troy Netto has been organized to determine the needs of our community. The first donation of $50,000 has been committed by the Beaver County Travel Council. The project will include playground equipment with safety areas, benches, garbage receptacles, picnic tables for the pavilion and trees. Depending on available funding basketball courts, walking path, restrooms and lighting could also be added to the project. Anyone wishing to donate can do so at the Milford City Office. You can contact any member of the committee for additional information.
