Election Notices

NOTICE OF ELECTION

Notice is hereby given that Milford City will hold a municipal election this fall to elect persons to the following offices: 3 Council Members. Given a sufficient number of candidates, a primary election will be held on September 11, 2007, with the municipal general election being held on November 6, 2007.

Qualifications to be a candidate are:
1. Be a United States Citizen.
2. Be at least 18 years old.
3. Be a resident of the municipality for at least 365 consecutive days immediately preceding the date of the election.
4. Be a registered voter of the municipality.

Qualified persons are to file with the City Recorder during normal office hours between July 1 and July 16, 2007. Candidate filing forms are available at the Milford City Offices, 26 South 100 West, Milford, Utah. Milford City Office will remain open until 5:00 pm on Monday July 16, 2007. Declaration of Candidacy Statements must be filed, in person, by candidates with the City Recorder. All candidates for election are subject to campaign financial statement disclosure regulations.
