Abandoned Vehicles and Outside Storage
Inoperable, unregistered, abandoned, wrecked or dismantled vehicles or vehicle parts, including recreational vehicles, must be properly stored within a fully enclosed building or behind a fully sight obscuring fence. Used or damaged lumber, junk, salvage materials, scrap materials, abandoned, discarded or unused furniture; stoves, sinks, toilets, bath tubs, cabinets, or other fixtures or equipment cannot be stored in an open area. Such materials must be stored within an enclosed building.
Boats and Trailers
Boats and trailers cannot be parked in the front yard areas of any residential zone or within 20 feet of any street corner. Off street parking must be provided for all recreational vehicles. Such vehicles cannot be placed on the streets in excess of 48 hours.
On Street Parking
It is unlawful for any person to park or leave standing on any public street, road, ally or municipal property, any travel trailer, trailer to carry recreational vehicles, commercial tractor/trailer, other trailers or non-operable vehicle for 48 or more consecutive hours.
Vehicles for Sale/Street Peddling
It is unlawful to park any vehicle on the street for the purpose of displaying it for sale, or to park any vehicle from which merchandise is peddled on any business street. |
