NOTICE OF CERTIFICATION
Please take notice that the Milford Critical Access Hospital Annexation Petition has been filed with the City of Milford on June 30, 2008 proposing the annexation of an area to the municipality;
The Milford City Council received a Notice of Certification under Subsection 10-2-403(2),(3) and (4), Utah Code Annotated, as amended, 1953 on June 30, 2008.
The area proposed for annexation in the annexation petition is:
Beginning at the West Quarter Corner of Section 5, Township 28 South, Range 10 West, SLM; Thence N 0º39' 18" E along the Section line 1310.30 feet to the Sixteenth Corner; thence S88º 59' 49" E 1323.13 feet to the Sixteenth Corner; Thence S 0º 33' 29" W along the sixteenth line 1316.68 feet. Thence S 00º 30’ 48” W along the Sixteenth line 687.14 feet to the railroad Right-Of-Way; Thence S 25º 51' 28" W along the Railroad Right-of-Way 739.72 feet to Milford City Limits; Thence N 89º 18' 29" W along the sixteenth line 606.86 feet; Thence along the Mountain View estates Subdivision by the following three courses: N 10º 34' 13" E 244.31 feet; Thence N 00º 33' 19" E 1124.93 feet; Thence N 88º 43' 25" W along the sixteenth line 454.33 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 65.399 acres
The complete annexation petition including plat map is available for inspection and copying at the office of the City Recorder at 26 South 100 West, Milford, Utah 84751.
THE CITY OF MILFORD MAY GRANT THE PETITION AND ANNEX THE AREA DESCRIBED IN THE PETITION UNLESS, WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM JULY 30, 2008. A WRITTEN PROTEST TO THE ANNEXATION PETITION, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SUBSECTION 10-2-407(2)(a)(i)(A), IS FILED WITH THE BEAVER COUNTY CLERK AT 105 EAST CENTER STREET, P.O. BOX 392, BEAVER, UT 84713 AND A COPY OF THE PROTEST DELIVERED TO THE CITY RECORDER OF MILFORD CITY.
